  Safer journeys

What is CWAM?

What do we do?

Coventry & Warwick Advanced Motorcyclists is a local group affiliated to the Institute of Advanced Motorists. We promote safe riding by assisting motorcyclists to develop their skills. Riders are encouraged to maintain their standards, sustain their interest and enjoy the company of a group of like-minded people who simply want to get the most out of biking.

The group offers a full calendar of social events to enjoy and a ready supply of new friends to meet.

The enthusiastic team at CWAM offers advanced rider coaching up to IAM Advanced Test standard at very low cost. Our experienced observers will advise you how to ride safely whilst maximising progress, enabling you to polish your skills to a very high level of competence.

We aim to make improving your expertise a pleasurable experience. There are no pressures, however, the more you practice the sooner you will pass your test.

Why join ?

If you wish to improve your riding techniques, have an open mind to learning and want to be part of a club that seeks to enjoy the best that motorcycling has to offer, please take the time to explore this site. Have a look at the Skill for Life package, what Advanced Riding is all about and the Social side of the group. Having done that, you'll need no further persuasion to contact CWAM and if you haven't already passed your advanced test, arrange a FREE Assessment Ride.
