More volunteers urgently needed for National Rally

The ACU (Auto Cycle Union) organising the National Rally is in desperate need of volunteers to man the checkpoint/control at Meriden which is usually situated in the car park of the Motorcycle Museum. This request has come via a roundabout route so I'm not exactly sure of the timing or details but I would imagine it would be between 1:30pm on Saturday July 3rd and, depending on the number of volunteers, into Sunday morning.

The duties are not onerous, stamping the competitors Control Card as they arrive and offering encouragement as they leave. The great thing is you get the opportunity to meet a lot of interesting people like Paul Wright, Ian Chapman and me.
