It is customary for CWAM to attend and
support various events during the year; the main object being to spread
the word and encourage bikers to join the group via the Skills for Life
Package. These are always successful and enjoyable days even when the
weather's a bit dodgy.
A new webpage
has been started with the aim of consolidating all the volunteer-type
information but I'm unsure how to organise it at the moment; it will
probably sort itself out eventually. In the meantime Ian Chapman (you
will spot his silver 'NDLT The Forklift People'
van prominently parked at all the events) is getting in early and
giving us plenty of notice to volunteer in 2010.
