CWAM recognised by Mayor's Charity

CWAM has been fortunate to be one of fifteen worthy charities to be recognised by the North Warwickshire Borough Council Mayor's Charity. During 2007/8 nearly £14,000 was raised and earlier this month, Tony Williamson accepted a cheque for £300 on behalf of CWAM from the out-going mayor, Councillor Adrian Edgington.

Recently Warwickshire has registered an alarming increase in motorcycle casualties. Already this year the fatality rate is 200% up, month on month, compared to 2006 and 2007 figures. For this reason, the award from the Mayor's Charity will fund a publicity campaign and Ian Chapman is already in contact with local radio and press further this end, so listen out for his dulcet tones.
